A New Interpretation on the Modern Edition Mu Tian Zi Zhuan (Biography of the King Mu)

本文认为，今本《穆天子传》所记原是周穆王在域内的数次巡游，而非在西域乃至更西的中亚。其中主要的一次是在山东省境内。

The author holds that the tours made by the King Mu that was recorded in the modern edition Mu Tian Zi Zhuan were not either in the western regions or the Middle Asia but within the home territory of the Zhou dynasty. One important tour was hisinspection to the present Shandong Province.
