According to Yuanhe Junxian Tuzhi, the Henan District produced imperial tribute of white poroelain during the Tang dynasty. Nevertheless, this document recorded the old tribute system during the Kaiyuan period. The system before Kaiyuan and the date that the Henan District began tributing porcelain are still unknown.This paper summarizes the localities of the double - dragoned dish - mouthed vases, their glazes, pastes, as well as their styles, argues that they wele made in the GongXian Kilns. In addition, the recovery of a pair of doubledragoned dish - mouthed vases from a nobility tomb of A. D .675, and the study Of the porcelain industry of the Luoyang area of early Tang Dynasty support the argument that the Henan District should have tributing white porcelain as eariy as early Tang Dynasty.
