AbstractThrough careful comparisons, this paper concludes that the Qingliangang Culture of Northern Jiangsu Province is distinct from both Beixin Culture in southern Shandong Province and Houjiazhai I Culture in eastern Anhui Province. It may have been a branch of Majiabang Culture who came from the Yangtze Delta and developed into a new type
