摘要
科技期刊的英文目录翻译或写作目前国内尚无规范遵循，所以着重介绍了英、美科技期刊目录版面设计风格，并讨论了标题语言的写作方法以及人名、地名。
No codes or regulations can be followed now in China on the translating or writing in English table of contents of the technical journal.This paper places its stress on introducing the design style of the contents in the journals in England and America, discussing writing features and method of the title language, and expressions of person name, names of place and organization and time as well.
