评香港两代南来作家

The Two Generations of Mainland-Immigrant Men of Letters in Hongkong

本文所论的香港两代南来作家特指1949年前后从大陆南下的唐人、刘以鬯等老一代作家与70年代左右自大陆来港的陶然、东瑞、白洛等新一代作家。他们的创作构成了香港文学实绩的重要部分。相对于香港本土作家而言,南来作家有其共性;因为文化背景的差异,两代南来作家又自有其内在差异。如果说唐人的香港叙事主要是一种以红色大陆为背景的政治批判,那么经历了文革的第二代南来作家的香港叙事则主要是一种文化批判。价值取向的差异,同时在更深层上制约了他们小说创作的叙事形态。

Among the Hongkong men of letters, there are two groups of distinctive generations who immigrated from China's Mainland around 1949 and in the 1910s respectively. Tang Ren,Liu Yichang,etc.are representatives of the older group, and Tao Ran, Dong Rui, Bui Luo, etc. stand out in the younger group.The narratives of the older group are more tinted with political colour, whereas the works of the younger group are more concerned on cultural and value criticism
