摘要
The Xingcheng site is llcated at northeast Helong county,Jilin province,it’s on the north bank of HailanJiang river. The site consists of two kinds of remains which belong to the Neolithic Age and Bronze Age. The latter is more importont.The pottery includes jar,jug, basin and bowl, ete. Most of the stone tools are polished (the chopped ones are seldom seen ),such as hoe, shovel, axe,celt, saddlequern,roller spear,arrow head,and net-sinking etc.The remains similar to Xingcheng distribute densely in Hailanjing river and Tumenjiang river bank known so far,The age of these remains falls between 3800 and 3300 BP. we name this sort of Bronze Age remains──Xingcheng Culture.
