城市转型是一个永恒的命题,是一个持续的动态过程,是城市发展进程及发展方向的重大变化与重大转折,是城市发展道路及发展模式的大变革。从世界城市化进程来看,现代城市发展实际上就是不断转型、提升竞争力的过程。城市经过阶段性的发展之后,受经济周期和自身发展周期的影响,都面临着从产业结构、城市功能、城市建设、社会文化等进行全面调整与转型的要求,以适应继续发展的需要。但国际城市之间因为资源禀赋的不同,所处发展阶段的差异以及治理方式上的差异,对转型发展的时机切入、推进措施和具体对策,都会有自身的独特性,由此形成了产业链延伸型、整体转换型、混合发展型、特色引领型类型的转型模式,国际城市转型呈现出多样性的特征。国际城市转型路径为中国城市转型的路径选择提供了众多启示。

Urban transformation is an eternal proposition,a continuous dynamic process,and a significant change in urban development process and direction,as well as a big breaking point in urban development path and mode.From the perspective of world urbanization,the modern urban development is actually aprocess of constantly transformation and competitiveness improvement.After a stage development,affected by the economiccycle and its own development cycle,cites are faced with the requirements from industrial structure,urban functions,urban construction and social culture which are under overall adjustment and reformation in order to meet the needs of sustainable development.However,discrepant resources endowment between international cities,as well as differences in development stage and governance will make a unique in transformation timing,measure and countermeasure.Thus different transformation modes are formed and the international urban actions show characteristics of richness.We believe that the experience from international urban transformation will provide targeted enlightenment for Chinese urban transformation in path selection.
