摘要
数字图书馆的自动定期维护正在引起图书馆学界的注意。文章提出一种构建模式,在现有数字图书馆软件中添加一个新的调度程序模块,该模块通过与主机平台上的任务调度程序进行交互,可以实现馆藏的自动定期创建,从而成为定期维护馆藏的简单而功能强大的工具。运用此模式,可以显著提高数字图书馆馆藏的维护水平。
The automated and scheduled maintenance of digital library collections is attracting the attention of the library field.The existing digital library software systems require users either to manually add new data to the collections,or to have programming knowledge and to use the existing application programming interface(API)to achieve the scheduled and automated building of collections at periodic intervals.In this paper,a model is proposed,a new scheduler module is to be added to an existing digital library software, which interacts with the task scheduler on the host platform to build the collections automatically on a regular basis,making it a simple yet powerful tool.Using this model,the maintenance level of digital library collections can be significantly improved.
