高校纸本外文期刊在馆利用调查分析与思考——基于山东农业大学图书馆实证研究

Analysis and Consideration on the Usage of Printed Foreign Journals in University Libraries——An Empirical Research of the Library of Shandong Agricultural University

纸本外文期刊利用是高校图书馆比较关注的问题,各图书馆关注的角度不同,研究成果也很多。笔者连续3年对纸本外刊在馆利用进行调查,从读者在馆阅读数量、读者类型及分布、复印数量、订购费用、数据库利用等方面得出详实的数据,分析结果成为外刊订购决策、资源布局的助推器。以读者利用为导向,根据图书馆自身的特点,科学、合理地调整外刊资源布局。

The main concern of university library is the usage of printed foreign journals.With different angles from each library,there are various research achievements.The library of shandong Agricultural University conduct a3-year investigation and get the empirical data from analyzing such issues as the number of readers in the library,their categories and distributions,the materials they copied and even data-bank usage ect,and then analysis results become the booster of decision-making in ordering and laying out the resources of foreign journals.In order to get the foreign journals and electronic resources deployed properly,the library should make scientific and reasonable regulations of the printed foreign jounals in accordance with library's own features from the readers'orientation.
