Literary translation is conceptualized as an artistic aesthetic experience.In the course of this action the translator makes an integrated series of attempts,within the framework of his potentialities and limitations to translate into a target language a text that has been written with expressive intention and that generates aesthetic effects.It is hypothesized in this paper that the aesthetic matrix of the translator is to be adjusted or reconstructed so as to formulate a similar aesthetic image with the author of the source text.
