In this paper, the concepts and its contents of dryland agriculture, rainwater catchment, rainwater harvesting agriculture are introduced. The drought and the balance of water supply and requirment of main crops are summurized and analysed. The geographical factors of Henan province in which developping rainwater harvesting agriculture is suitable are elaborated. Through the example analysing, the feasibility and developping propect of rainwater harvesting agriculture are showed clearly. And in the end, author put forward that rainwater harvest agriculture is the best strategic selection of sustainable agriculture in aridland of Henan province.
