A Preliminary study of the silk fabric Unearthed from QiGuoking Tomb of the Kin Dynasty at Archeng, Heilongjiang

摘要 In May, 1988, at Juyuan County, Archeng, HeiLongjiang, a batch of intact and elegan the couple huried tomb of QiGuo king, among which a dozen of silk fabric was precious relics. The background organization of the silk fabrlc in cludes plain weave twill weave and twist. It uses throughing and digging technique to make design with some pieces of gold. various plants and animals are mainly chosen as the theme designs of the silk fabric, such as peony plum blossom Chrysanthemum dragon phoenix and so on. In the kin Dynasty, people admired using gold, and the Song Dynasty ’s fabric had influcnced them, based on a certain technical forces and material conditions, silk fabric had been made further improvement, and reached a rather high standard which in fluenced the development of fabric not only in the Yuan Dynasty, but also in both the Ming and Qing Dynasty.The unearthed silk fabric clothes not only fill up the span left by lacking kin Dynasty ’ s clothes in the study of chinese dressing history, but also of fter material informations for us to know and to study the history and development of the silk fabric in the kin In May, 1988, at Juyuan County, Archeng, HeiLongjiang, a batch of intact and elegan the couple huried tomb of QiGuo king, among which a dozen of silk fabric was precious relics.
