摘要
In the light of archaeological typology, this paper makes a comparative studies on the main incised symbols of twelve Liangzhu jades. It suggests that the first group, including those on jade bi-disk from Ansi in Yuhang county, No’ 2 bi-disk ofthe Freer Gallery of Art etc. portrayed the ritual temple of the Liangzhu Culture. The second group, represented by the nineteen jionts cong-tube stored in the Museum of Chinese History are believed to be the symbols of the sun and the moon. The third group, represented by the No. 1 bi-disk of the Freer Gallery of Art, reflect the mixture of the two different motifs. The author still explores the relative chronology of those jades.
