AbstractIn view of the fact that agro education in China at present is not gender sensitive,the author believes that “gender and development” should be added to the content of the education and that higher agro education,professional agro education and education for cadres in the field of agriculture be viewed from a gender angle,so as to encourage rural women to take a more active part in agricultural development and to develop themselves.
