西道堂历史上曾有过用以过集体生活的大房子，透过这种独特的民俗遗存我们可以依稀看到西道堂这一伊斯兰群体在特定历史条件下以特定组织形式维系群体利益所显示出的独特文化魅力及其影响。

A kind of large house for collective living has been built in the history of Xidaotang. Penetrating this unique folk custom, we can see the cultural charm and influence presented by Xidaotang, a islamic group which defend their collective interests by certain organization under the special historical conitons.
