在本世纪中期以前近百年的中国早期现代化进程中，回族有识之士通过组织社团、创办学校、出版刊物并积极开办具有实业救国性质的资本主义工商业来投身社会变革，涌现出许多杰出人才，为中国早期现代化的理论与实践做出有益贡献。

During almost 100 years of China's early modernization process be fore the medium term of this century,people of insight threw themselves into the reform of society.They organized social groups,established schools,published magazines and newspapers and built up the capitalist trade and industry.They wanted to achieve the aim of saving country by industry and commerce.Most of them were outsanding people and they made valuable contribution for China's early moderniza-tion process.
