中国回教俱进会的创立是近代回族觉醒及回族新文化运动开始的标志。此前，一些回族先进知识分子揭露帝国主义的侵略阴谋、抨击封建统治、介绍西方科学思想、提倡宗教改良，其爱国主义时代精神影响了回族社会的基本思想，为中国回教俱进会的创立做了充分的思想准备。

The foundation of the Chinese Muslim Ju Jin Association has been the symbol of the awakening of the modern times muslims and the beginning of the muslim new culture movement. Beforesetting up the Muslim Ju Jin Association, some advanced muslim intellectuals exposed the invading plot of the imperialists and assailed the medal ruffing class. Scientific thoughts were introduced from the west and religious reform was advocated. These patriotic spirits influenced thebasic ideology of the Hut society and made a full ideological preparation for the foundation of theChinese Muslim Ju Jin Association.
