提高对外经济合同英译质量的探讨

STUDIES ON IMPROVING THE C-E TRANSLATION QUALITY OF FOREIGN ECONOMIC CONTRACT

本文目的在于提高对外经济合同英译的质量。由于对外经济合同的性质，其英文译文应尽量接近原文的文体风格。为此应尽可能采用直译法，并应用一些翻译技巧，如重复、扩充、转换、合并等，使英文译文确切、顺畅，结构缜密、紧凑。

This paper aims at improving the translation quality of foreign economic contract from Chinese into English. Owing to the nature of foreign economic contract,its English version should keep to the style of the original work as much as possible. This literal translation should be employed to the fullest extent,and some translation techniques may also be used,such as repetition and amplification to make the translation exact,conversion of negative expression to make it smooth,and combination to make the sentence structure compact.
