The Study of Bilateral Cultural Relations and the Methodology of Corroboration of Original Evidence

一比较文化的研究,是人们认识人类文化的共性和各自民族性的一个重要的途径。其中,关于不同民族文化之间相互关系的研究,即双边文化关系或多边文化关系的研究,无疑具有重要的意义。它通过揭示异质文化之间复杂而生动的关系。

In comparative cultural and literature studies,bilateral or multilateral cultural relationship is a concept of great signifi- cance,and corroboration of original evidence is of methodological importance.As a point of departure,the article tackles the forms of mutually merging alien cultures by exploring and re- vealing them in terms of literary genres,as such approaches are necessary for bilateral or multilateral cultural and literature stud- ies. This methodology puts emphasis on'corroboration'in its approach,and is systematically constructed.The analyses and explanations are carried out in terms of the following four levels: 1)confirmation of the original evidence of interrelated data;2) The verifiability of the original evidence;3)The duality of cor- roboration;4)Corroboration of bilateral cultural ambience. The'corroboration of original evidence'approach is a com- plex and comprehensive system,but it is an operable system.It is believed that this methodology is of practical value and correc- tive function to the'misconception of observation'in the field of comparative cultural and literature studieds,hence it is recom- mendable to be utilized.
