中国西部地区经济发展的优劣势分析及战略支点的选择

The advantages and unfavourable factors for developing China's western areas economy and the choice of strategical fulcrum

文章认为，中国西部地区的经济发展既面临着历史悠久、地域广阔、地产资源丰富、具备一定的综合开发基础以及国家政策的调整等突出优势，也存在着自然条件差．资源型产业结构造成的企业和地区的经济效益低，工业品价格不合理，劳动者素质差．经济发展落后以及贫困面大等不利因素。权衡利弊，文章提出的西部地区经济发展的战略选择是：划小经济发展单元，构造若干个经济发展的支持系统，从培养经济增长的极核入手，由小到大．以点带面，以经济增长极核的发展和释放的能量带动整个经济带的经济腾飞。

Abstract This paper analyzes the advantages for developing China's western areas economy as fol lows:very rich in natural resources,have some bases for comprehensive exploiting,some favourable policy factors.And meanwhile,the author also points out that,some unfavourable factors exists in China's western areas economic deveolpment,such as bad natural environ ment,inferior quality of labours,irrational price ratios of industrial products.The author puts forward the suggestions for speeding up western areas'economic development,i.e.dividewestern areas into some smaller units and make many support systems of economic develop ment,and further,use the development of above economic growing points to promote the whole western areas'economic development.
