Colorimetric assays for reduced glutathione by tetraox pyrimidine method, sodium nitroprusside method and DTNB[5,5′ dithiobis(2 nitrobenzoic acid)] method were introduced and compared. The results showed that Alloxan method and DTNB method were more accurate.
