中国“复关”与中国民族工业

China′s Restoration of GATT Membership and National Industry

关税与贸易总协定作为全球性经贸组织,在世界经济中的地位和作用越来越重要。中国作为关贸总协定最早缔约国之一,由于历史原因而丧失了缔约国地位。随着我国对外开放的深入和社会主义市场经济的确立,恢复关贸总协定缔约国的地位已刻不容缓。本文试图从中国“复关”的利弊分析着手,着重探讨“复关”后中国民族工业所面临的困境及发展前景,并提出了一些具有建设性的意见。

GATT as a global economic and trade organization is playing a more andmore important role and i:s position is being continuously raised in the econo-mic affairs of the world. As one of the earliest signatory states of GATT,China lost her due status owing to historical causes, with a more and moredeepgoing implementation of the open policy and the establishment of thesocialist market economy, it is an urgent task brooking no delay to recoverChina's signatory-state position in GATT. Proceeding from an analysis overthe merits and demerits of the restoration of China's GATT membership, thisessay pays special attention to both the difficulties and prospects the said re-storation of GATT membership would bring to China. Some constructive ideasare put forward.
