摘要
本文以调查表数据为依据,对在英国的中国大陆留学生英语使用的情况进行了分析。分析内容涉及听、说、读、写四项语言技能,包括使用各项技能的频率和难度,对提高某项技能最有帮助的活动,以及导致使用某项技能困难的最主要原因等。分析结果对语言培训中心及要赴英语国家学习的中国学生有参考价值。
Based on questionnaire data, this paper analyses the use of English by some Chinesestudents in the U.K.. It studies what Chinese students do with English in terms of the fourlanguage skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. The analysis includes the fre-quencies and levels of difficulty of certain language activities, the causes of difficulty and themost helpful work for improving a given skill. It is hoped that the paper will provide use-ful information for language centres and for those who are going to study in an English-spea-king country.
