The paper re-evaluated the artistic value in Wu Mi's translation of poems. A closer study revealsWu Mi's pursuit for a taste for both the decorum of the western classical school and the doc?rineof the mean of the Confucian school, which resulted in his elevated expression of though? andfeeling in metric language.
