利用区位优势 发挥昆明旅游中心城市功能

Making Use of the Regional Advantages and Bringing Kunming's Function as Tourism City into Play

在云南省旅游业的发展过程中,区位条件曾一直是其发展的制约因素。由于其地处我国西南一隅,长期以来只靠贵昆线和成昆线两条铁路通往省外,远离国内旅游热点和温点;虽有4000多公里的边境线,但接壤的都为发展中国家,不是直接客源产生国。来云南的外国游客大多是经香港从广州入境,或由北京、广州进入昆明。目前,随着国家实行全方位对外开放战略,以及东南亚经济的发展,云南省在医位上的优势已明显突出。作为云南省的旅游中心城市昆明,如何发挥其在云南旅游省以及东南亚旅游圈中的作用,抓住机遇,完善城市的社会功能,加强城市的经济实力和旅游特征,使其迈入现代化国际性旅游城市的行列,增强旅游目的地的综合竞争力,是旅游资源丰富的云南省旅游业发展的关键。同时,旅游业的发展对旅游中心城市产生的新的需求,无疑也是影响昆明城市建设、城市职能、城市内部空间结构。

The article points out that Yunnan Province, a gateway to China's southwest and adjacent to the countries of Southeast Asia and South Asia, has regional advantages and colourful tourism resources. Kunming is a tourist city in Yunnan Province as well as a regional tourist hub. The author thinks that the big development of Yunnan's tourism relies heavily on whether Kunming can perform its multi-functions as a tourtist city. The article discusses how to strengthen Kunming's functions as a tourist centre from two aspects:1. Strengthening the comprehensive competitive power of its tourism products, and 2. Forming a regional tourism centre.
