Planet Worship is an important part in Esoterik Buddhism. The paper focuses on the study of an astrological chant, called Hora Diagram, owned by the Kyoogokokuji, Toji, Japan, compares the text of it wity that of the related sutra. The author thinks that the text of the Hora Diagram truly reflects the merging of traditional Chinese ideas with the newly imported foreign astrological notions, furthermore, they were encompassed within the unifying backgroud of Esoteric Buddhism, which rose to its height during the Tang dynasty.
