Traditional techniques are living relics that must been investigated,conserved and studied.In this paper,it is discussed unique advantages about traditional casting technique and important inspiration for studies in the history of natural sciences.With the help of plant opal fossils examination,it is clear that close relations between ancient traditional and clay mold techniques.
