This essay is a result of what the author has gained in his study of classicpoems.The content involves the relations between Wang Wei's poems and the poetryof the Han dynasty,the comments on Li Bais poems made by Du Fu's poems,aswell as some issues concerning a Han-dynasty poem titled “A Slowly GrowingLonely Bamboo”.
