Socialist Economy Should Be a Commodity Economy More Developed and Perfect Than Capitalism

本文从商品的性质出发,提出商品是经济发展的产物、又是发展经济的工具的观点。由此论证,商品是社会经济活动的内容,社会制度是社会经济活动的形式,因此,不是经济制度决定商品经济的存在和发展,而是商品经济的存在和发展决定经济制度。因而,不应当把商品生产、商品交换和经济发展、社会进步对立起来。文章还从商品经济自身发展的客观过程得出社会主义经济应当是比资本主义更加发达,更加完善的商品经济的结论。

Based on the character of commodity,the view is advanced that commodity,as a product of economic development,is also an instrument for developing economy.Therefore,commodity is the content of social-economic activities,while the socialsystem is the form.Thus,it is the existence and growth of commodity economythat determine the economic system,not the vice versa.Commodity production andcommodity exchange should not be opposed to economic development and socialprogress.From the objective procedure of the development of commodity economy,the conclusion is drawn that socialist economy should be a commodity economythat is more developed and perfect than capitalism.
