中国武术套路练习的存在和发展是武术运动形式的重要特点。它表现为高度的程式化。其产生和流传是中国传统文化背景所决定的。“道”在中国传统哲学中有非常重要的地位,中国古人把“闻道”作为追求的目标,这是武术套路产生的思想基础。崇礼是其产生的伦理道德基础。而中国文化的家族本位性也有利于武术套路的发展和延续。

The existence and development of the routine practices are the major characteristic of Chinese Wushu. Wushu routines are highly stylized. Their emergence and spread are determined by the traditional cultural background in China. The theory of Taoism occupies a very important position in traditional Chinese philosophy. So the ideological basis of the emergence of Wushu routines is the goal of 'hearing Taoism', which the ancient Chinese intended to seek after. And advocating Confucianism is the ethical basis of their emergence. However, the family selfishness of the Chinese culture also contributes to the development and extension of Wushu routines.
