On Code Switching in Written Languages

一、引言在社会语言学中,语言、言语、方言、俚语等都可称之为语码(code)。语码的运用与社会语境的关系是社会语言学的中心问题,其中语码的选择和语码间的转换构成了其重要内容。近二十年来。西方语言学界有关语码转换(code-swihing,下称CS)的研究文献有不少问世。然而,有关CS的研究几乎全是围绕会话性语码转换(conversational code-switching,下称CCS)进行的。

The paper aims at discussing written code switching between a mother tongue and foreign languages.Through the descriptive,explanatory and predictive analysis,some condusions are drawn in terms of its communicative functions,grammatical constraits,distributive patterns and some factors determining modes of linguistic ch- oices.SociolinguiStically,written code-switching is,in a great measure,a conscious communicative strategy and a parameter of intercultural infiltration.
