The Only Road Leading to The Modernization of China' s Communism

中国社会主义现代化建设起始于新中国成立、社会主义改造基本完成到十一届三中全会召开这一历史时期。是时,面对严峻的国际环境和复杂的国内形势,一方面,在中国共产党的坚强领导、努力探索和广大人民群众的大力支持下,中国社会主义现代化建设取得了一系列的重大成就;但另一方面,由于国际敌对势力的封锁、国内反动分子的破坏和我们自己极端缺乏社会主义现代化建设的经验,这一历史时期里也出现了诸如"大跃进"、"十年文革"之类的严重失误。在以邓小平为核心的第二代领导集体的积极推动下,党的十一届三中全会果断结束了"以阶级斗争为纲"的错误,确立了将工作重点转移到经济建设上来的方针,开辟了建设有中国特色的社会主义道路。历史证明,建设中国特色社会主义的道路是一条能够将中国引向繁荣富强的道路。沿着这条成功之路前进,党的十六大提出的把中国建成一个政治稳定、经济繁荣、社会公平、人民康乐、环境优美的社会主义现代化强国的宏伟目标一定能够实现。

The construction of modernized Communism in China is a historical period from the foundation of new China and the rebuilding of Communism to the Third round of Thirteenth National congress. It is an era with complex environment inland and outland. On the one side, the construction of modernized Communism achieved harvest under the guide of CCP and with the support of Chinese people; on the other side, in this period, serious mistakes like 'Big progress' and 'Culture Revolution' occurred for the blocks of our international enemies, the destroying from demotic reactionaries, and our lack of experience for this undertaking. It was for the second generation of leaders with Deng xiaoping as the core, that our part ended the mistake, 'work for class battle', focused on the construction of economy, and broke a new path towards Communism with Chinese characteristics. The history proved that this path could take China to her prosperity. Along this path the great objectives we advanced in the sixteenth congress of CCP——make China a country, which is of stable politics, flourishing economy, fair society, happy people, and beautiful environment will definitely be realized.
