The present article presents a comprehensive review of the enterprise group,focusing on its economic properties and its organizational and legal characteristics, and thereby gives a positive definition of such a complex. What follows is a brief account of the Chinese and foreign economic circles' different concepts on the enterprise group. Management within such an establishment and the prospects of its future popularization join to form the theme of the final part of the discourse, which also include some specific proposals.
