“中美合作所集中营”这个名称,最早见于1956年8月16日四川省人民委员会公布的一批文物保护单位的名单里。“中美合作所集中营”旧址,主要指位于重庆西北郊歌乐山与磁器口之间,占地约5250亩的一片地区。四川省人民委员会之所以将此划为省级文物保护单位。

The paper questions a widely-used historical term in China: Sino-U.S. Cooperative Organization's Concentration Camp, arguing that it is the result of equating the Sino-U.S. Cooperative Organization with the Chongqing Concentration Camp. of the KMT Military Bureau of Statistics and Investigation.
