本文是对第三届全国台港及海外华文文学学术讨论会的综述。国内外对香港文学的研究日益重视,引人注目。对台湾文学的研究,也在向纵深发展,发人深思。对海外华文文学的研究则如奇峰突起,出人意料。此次学术讨论会带有国际交流性质,中外学者济济一堂,相互切磋,对台港及海外华文文学的研究,是一次促进。

This essay is a brief summary of the Third Taiwan, Hong Kong and Overseas Chinese Literature Academic Symposium.An increasing attention has been paid to the literature of Hong Kong both at home and abroad. This is something worth notice. And the study on Taiwan literature has also been undergoing a deep-going development. This is a fact worth profound thought. As to the study on the overseas Chinese literature,the sudden sensational enthusiasm is out of expectation. This symposium is of the nature of international enchange of views, at which scholars both Chinese and foreign discussed together and learned from each other. The occasion is no doubt a contribution to the promotion of the study of Taiwan and overseas Chinese literature.
