论江淹《杂体诗》及其序

On Jiang Yan's Miscellaneous Poems and its Preface

长期以来,人们对《杂体诗》的研究和评价,往往抛开其序,且大都拘限于“拟作”的范围之内,未能探出其“庐山真面目”。本文拟把两者结合起来加以分析考察,试图建立不同于以往的观点和看法。

For quite a long time now, when people are studying and appraising Miscellaneous Poems, they often neglect the Preface and are usually confined to the conception that these poems are but'imitations', therefore fail to see their true nature.This essay is an effort to combine the Poem's and the Preface with a view to analysing the artistic characteristics and pointing out that Miscellaneous Poems should occupy its due position in both the history of literature and the history of philology.
