摘要
本文是对“白痴学者”M(男,11岁)的初步观察结果。M 在言语、思维、行为和情绪表达等方面,发展水平相当低下;但同时却具有超人的特殊才能:日期推算、心算和数字记忆。M 大脑和身体发育正常,未进过幼儿园和小学.家长也未对其进行过专门教育和训练.所以,M 智能畸形发展的原因尚须深入研究.
The present paper involves a preli-minary observation on an“idiot savant”M,male and aged 11.So far as hislanguage,thinking,behaviour and emotionare concerned,M displays a rather lowlevel of development.But he boastscertain unusual abilities,notably in in-ferring dates,doing mental arithmaticand memorizing figures.M's mind andbody are normal.As he has never beento kindergarden or primary school andhas never received any special trainingfrom his parents,the causes of his dis-torted mental development still call forfurther research.
