World-scale Development Versus Undevelopment ——a political economic analysis

世界经济发展到今天,许多新现象已使传统理论所不能描述,而需要新的理论来概括。本文认为,世界性的发达与不发达恰是一个较好的切口。作者在分析正统经济发展理论与激进经济发展理论的基础上,建立了新的概念,并借助这些概念,从比较经济角度描述了不发达的产生与演变,形成了以“错位”为中心的独到理论见解。

The world's economic development has gone beyond the range of traditionaltheories and calls for new theoretic approaches. Mr. Cao Yuanzheng asserts in thepresent work that world-scale development versus undevelopment provides a goodstarting point for such new approaches. On the basis of his own analysis of boththe orthodox theories on economic development and their radical counterparts, heformed a new concept which enables him to give an account, in terms of compara-tive economics, of the origin and history of undevelopment. Thus he autbors anoriginal theoretic approach that focuses on "dislocation".
