试论“体育与政治一体化”之利弊

A Preliminary Study on the Merits and Demerits of the Integration of Sports and Politics

体育与政治一体化已成为当代世界体育的重要特征之一。本文从历史学和比较体育学的角度,考察体育与政治这两个文化变量的结合过程,阐述了在国际体坛和一些国家的体育运动中体育与政治一体化的各种表现形式,并着重分析一体化过程给体育运动发展造成的正反两方面的影响。通过比较分析,进一步明确体育的本质,以及体育与政治的关系,以便适度地发挥我国体育运动的政治功效。

Integration of sports and politics has become one of the salient features of world sports today. Proceeding from the viewpoint of history and comparative sports, this dissertation examines the process in which the two cultural variables of sports and politics have come to merge. Such a process, which has taken place in some countries as well as in international sports, is viewed in its various manifestations, and the effects, both positive and negative, it has exerted on sports development is analysed in an emphatical way. The aim of this comparative study is to look into the intrinsic character of sports and their relation with politics, so that we can place the political function of sports in an appropriate context in our country.
