中国考古学和中国科技史

我先要声明,我是搞考古学的。对于中国科技史,可以说是一个门外汉,完全外行。记得三年前我们研讨会的前次主席席文教授(N.Sivin),在他所主编的《中国科学》(Chinese Science)1980年4期中,在我的一篇文章前面的编者按语中说:"Hsia’s interest in technical history waslargely responsible for the attention paid to itin China by archaeologists,and for thewillingness of archaeologists and historians tocollaborate in study of artifacts.I know of noprecedent anywhere for the extent to whichthese trends developed."(p.20)
