让·菲利普·图森(Jean-Philippe Toussaint),比利时法语小说家,法国"极少主义小说"代表人物之一。《浴室》《先生》《照相机》是让·菲利普·图森的三部曲,它讲述的是一个人在一生的不同时期遭受困境的故事。《出版家周刊》称赞其"在同辈作家创造出一种难以企及的高度,那样的高度,不以情节取胜,不以感情眩目,就像是静画,就像是慢板乐章,只要我们一走进,就难以离步。"文章从三部曲中的主要人物、空间的处理、插曲和细节等角度来解读这三部作品的内在关联性。
Jean Philippe Toussaint,a Belgian French-language writer,is one of the representatives of French 'minimalism'writers. The three novels the Bathroom,Monsieur,Camera make up Jean Philippe Toussaint's Trilogy,a narrative of personal impediments occurred to different episodes of life. Publishers Weekly praises him as having reached an unparalleled height among contemporary writers. His novels deeply attract readers employing no plots and feelings but picture-like tempo. This paper attempts to reveal the internal links between the trilogy from the angles of protagonists' depiction,treatment of space and the adoption of interlude and details etc.
