蓝棣之的"症候式分析",是新时期文学研究"方法热"中涌现出来的,是在将西方"新潮"理论本土化方面具有突出表现的理论创新。本文通过对主要是2000年以来的有关"症候式分析"的部分学术研究论文的综述,试图使读者对症候式分析的理论内涵、个性、文学史意义有一个基本的、客观的认识。在当前文学和文学研究事业普遍处于不景气的整体情势下,体现了强大的综合能力与灵活性的"症候式分析"还具有很大的发展空间。

'Symptomatological reading' is a remarkable literature analyzing method created by Professor Lan Dizhi through localizing western critical theories. This article aims at giving readers an objective review of this remarkable literature researching method by summarizing some studies of it mainly from the year of 2000 until now and pointing out its great developing potentials when facing the major tendency of ' exterior researching' presently.
