This article chooses and sorts out some research results about Tao Yuan-ming in the English-speaking world systematically and clarifies these scholars’concerns and research ideas from three aspects of translations,treatises and theses.Translations involve fields from literature popularizing to academic re-search,and the level of treatises and theses is also remarkable.Based on western academic background, these researches have strong theoretical properties,and abundant and diversified perspectives.The re-searchers are good at both traditional study and the employment of new theories,and they have made great achievements.
