对“元曲四大家”源于周德清之说的批驳

Refutation to the Theory That Four Masters of the Yuan Drama Is Firstly Named by Zhou De-qing

周德清在《中原音韵》中首次将关、郑、白、马并举,此后,"元曲四大家"源于周德清的说法逐渐成为约定俗成的事实。经过分析,从3方面否定了这一观点:首先,周德清本无评选"元曲四大家"的意图;其次,以关、郑、白、马为例并非周德清的内心选择;再次,这一谬误之所以被广泛接受,既有外部偶然因素也有内部实力因素。因此,"元曲四大家"之说并非源于周德清。

In ZhongYuanYinYun,Zhou De-qing mentions Guan Han-qing,Zheng Guang-zu,Bai Pu and Ma Zhi-yuan together for the first time,which leads to the fact that the Four Masters of the Yuan Drama were named by Zhou De-qing in the later time.On the basis of analysis,the paper refutes this theory from three aspects:Zhou had no intention of choosing so-called Four Masters of the Yuan Drama;taking those four playwrights as examples was not Zhou’s sincere choice;and it is due to both external random and in-ternal strength that this error is widely accepted.Therefore,the statement of Four Masters of the Yuan Drama does not come from Zhou De-qing.
