香蒲新害虫稻蛀茎夜蛾生物学特性研究

Study on Biological Chracteristics of Sesamia inferens in Typha orientalis

香蒲(Typha orientalis)是一种优良的水生观赏植物。2008年首次在香蒲上发现一种钻心虫———稻蛀茎夜蛾(Sesamia inferens)。该虫钻蛀香蒲茎秆,造成枯心、无法抽穗,严重影响香蒲的观赏价值。室外观察和室内饲养结果表明,稻蛀茎夜蛾在武汉地区1年发生4代,以幼虫在香蒲茎秆内越冬,次年4月上旬老熟幼虫化蛹羽化。越冬代发生在4月上旬至5月中旬,第一代发生期为6月中旬至8月上旬,第二代发生期为7月下旬至8月下旬,第三代发生期为9月上旬至10月中旬。初步研究了香蒲稻蛀茎夜蛾的生物学特性及为害情况,提出了合理的防治措施。

Typha orientalis is an excellent aquatic ornamental plant.Sesamia inferens,a borer insect,was firstly reported to damage T.orientalis in 2008.It inhabits in plant stem and results in dead heart and non-heading.This damage seriously affects ornamental value of T.orientalis.The morphology,living habits,life cycle of S.inferens were studied based on field observation and indoor rearing.The results showed that S.inferens has 4 generations per year and overwinters as larvae in stem of T.orientalis in Wuhan.The overwinterred larvae start to pupate.The adults of 4 generations emerge in the early April to mid-May,mid-June to early August,late July to late August and early September to mid-October respectively.This study is a preliminary investigation on the bionomics and damage of S.inferens,and aims to propose strategy of preventing and controling this insect.
