《正字略》及王筠正字观刍议

Study of zhengzilüe and WangYun's Orthography Concepts

王筠的《正字略》是一部参仿《干禄字书》体例编撰的文字规范著作,是清代中期的字样学研究成果。其书对传统字样学范式进行了改良和革新,一方面以《说文》所示汉字构形理据为本,力倡弃俗匡正的用字风尚;另一方面着眼清代语文生活,在考据大兴的背景之下旗帜鲜明地反对时人用字盲目复古的不良风气,体现着王筠师古而不泥于古的正字观。

Wang Yun’s zhengzilüe was an orthographic learning book which imitated the style of ganluzishu,and it was an outstanding research of orthography in the mid-Qing Dynasty.The book improved many traditional orthographic styles.On the one hand,it maintained the structure of Chinese characters revealed by shuowen jiezi and advocated the orthodoxy habit of character usage;on the other hand,the book focused on the social reality,explicitly opposed such incorrect "retro" style in an attempt to be unorthodox.From the book,we could find that Wang Yun inherited the orthography concept,but his opinion was objective and innovative.
