Breeding of a New Navel Orange Variety - Xiangke No.2

湘科二号脐橙是湖南省农业科学院从纽荷尔脐橙芽变株系中选育出的椭圆形脐橙新品种。介绍了该品种的选育过程、生物学特性、产量及品质、适应性及抗性等内容,分析了纽荷尔脐橙及其芽变株系的果形差异,并提出了湘科二号脐橙无公害栽培的关键技术。

Xiangke No.2 is a new variety of oval navel orange bred from bud mutation line of Newhall navel orange by Hunan Academy of Agricultural Sciences.The article introduced the breeding process,biological properties,yield and quality,adaptation and resistance of the variety;analyzed the fruit shape difference between Newhall navel orange and its bud mutation line;proposed the key pollution-free culture technology for Xiangke No.2,which offering a good variety to support the development of navel orange industry in Hunan Province.
