The existing development conditions of eggplant industry in Hunan province were introduced,and it indicated that the existing problems for developing eggplant industry in Hunan province were insufficient research strength and funds,backward breeding technology,late started in resource innovation.Then,it analyzed the influencing factors for developing eggplant industry in Hunan province,and then the countermeasures were put forward,including strengthening the team building of scientific and technical personnel,planning a good industry structure,paying attention to intensive seedling breeding in early spring,resource innovation and breeding technology research,and protecting local variety resources.
