Summarization of Hybrid Seed Production Technology of Melon with Green Flesh and Thin Peel in Greenhouse in Hunan Area

为解决绿肉型薄皮甜瓜杂交新品种制种过程中种子饱满度不够、空瘪籽比例高、种子产量低等问题,经过2011~2013年连续3 a试验研究,摸索出一套较为成熟的杂交甜瓜种子生产技术,种子产量可达15 kg/667 m2。从父母本种子准备、制种地及栽培模式选择、苗期管理、移栽管理、大棚管理、杂交授粉前的准备、杂交授粉、种子收取及入库保存等方面,总结了湖南地区绿肉薄皮甜瓜大棚杂交制种技术要点,以供参考。

In order to solve the problems of not enough seed plumpness, high ratio of unfilled seeds, low seed production,continuously three-year experiments had been conducted by Hunan Institute of Watermelon and Melon from 2011 to 2013,and a set of hybrid melon seed production technology was explored successfully, and the seed yield can reach 225 kg/hm2.The paper summarized the key techniques of hybrid seed production for melon with green flesh and thin peel in greenhouse in Hunan Area in terms of preparing parents seeds, selecting seed production location and culture model,seedling stage management, transplanting management, greenhouse management, preparation before hybrid pollination,hybrid pollination, and seed harvest and storage.
