古代音乐的功用性归纳为娱乐性功用、功利性功用。功利性功用又分为政治性功用、社会性功用。音乐功利性与娱乐性的冲突贯穿了音乐发展的始终。冲突的结果总是娱乐性音乐由弱到强,逐步成为主流音乐。

The function of ancient music can be classified into the entertainment function and utility function.The utility function is further divided into political function and social function.Conflict between the utility function and entertainment function of music can be witnessed throughout the beginning and end of music development.As time goes by,the entertainment function of music is growing stronger and gradually becoming the mainstream music.
